wife’s last wish)

Endowment for Research Grant at IRID (Prof. H. S. Paul has donated so far
Rs.1, 243, 732/- to do research on deafness). Prof. Paul’s property and
Indian Bank Account No.439625334 is for the development of IRID.
3. Stanley Ehrlich Endowment for Award/Research Grant at IRID (Dr.
Stanley L. Ehrlich has donated so far Rs.537, 314/-)
Foundation
presents one Gold Medal (50 grams) each year in the names of either Late Mira
Paul or Dr. Stanley L. Ehrlich, as both of them are considered as mentors and
the brain behind the formation of AFECT. This Gold medal is presented to
eminent Acoustician or ENT surgeon. The details of the award are as follows:

One
Gold Medal or Silver Medal with equivalent money will be presented to an
individual, irrespective of his/her nationality, age or Society affiliation
who has made significant contribution to the field of Acoustics or deafness;
·
Awardees
must be internationally renowned Acoustician/ENT surgeon, preference will be
given to awardees that have developed new Technique or established a research
institute on Acoustics in India
or occupied international position on Acoustics.
·
Minimum
one lecture will be delivered by the awardees at Technical meet or at IRID;
·
The
basic object of this award is to enhance all-round growth of Acoustics in India.
4.
Honorary Fellowship
A person who has attained
eminence in acoustics may be elected to Honorary Fellowship. At the time of
election, an Honorary Fellow need not be a member of the Acoustical
Foundation.
